Government Consulting Services and Todd Hoffman

HOUSTON, TEXAS (September 22, 2022) – Weaver, a national accounting and advisory firm, announces the launch of Government Consulting Services led by Todd Hoffman, who recently joined the firm as a partner.

Under Todd’s direction, Weaver’s Government Consulting Services team will support state and local governments and related organizations in undergoing transformational financial change and modernizing practices in IT, human resources and governance. Assisting with capital projects and economic development initiatives, as well as disaster recovery readiness and the implementation of ESG-related goals, Weaver’s suite of services covers four key areas:

Strategy: Workforce planning, organization planning, IT and IS strategy, data architecture and management, and visual analytics.
Operations: Business process improvement and re-engineering, shared and managed services, risk management, change management infrastructure planning and grant funding management.
Technology: Project management, cybersecurity, IT independent verification and validation, data architecture and cloud strategies.
Human Resources: Human capital strategy, talent management, organizational design, HR analytics, and learning and development.

Prior to joining Weaver, Todd Hoffman served as a partner in a Big Four public sector practice that spun off to a boutique management and technology consulting services firm in 2018. With more than three decades of state and local government consulting experience, he has led large-scale projects in business process improvement, financial and organizational assessments, financial and business transformations, grant management, technology implementations, workforce development, stakeholder outreach and inclusion, employee engagement and change management for government entities nationwide. Additionally, he has experience planning, managing and monitoring a variety of complex federal disaster relief funding programs. Most recently, he worked with multiple state and local governments to develop funding strategies and ensure regulatory compliance in response to COVID-19 grant activities.

Todd is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management. He is a frequent conference speaker on human capital and various performance improvement topics, and has authored numerous white papers on succession planning, performance improvement and compensation design. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Lamar University.
