Weaver Announces Leadership Transition: John Mackel Named CEO, Effective June 2015

Weaver, the largest independent accounting firm in the Southwest, announces the appointment of John J. Mackel III, CPA, as managing partner and chief executive officer (CEO), effective June 1, 2015. John succeeds Tommy D. Lawler, CPA, who will complete his six-year term in May 2015.  

With offices throughout Texas, Los Angeles, Calif. and Stamford, Conn., and operations in Denver, Colo., Weaver has grown significantly under Lawler’s leadership.
