Arlene Ashcraft, CFA, ASA, has been engaged in business appraisal since 2005. She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation with the American Society of Appraisers and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder. She serves clients with ESOP valuations and financial advisory services, estate and gift tax valuations and appraisal assignments for litigation support purposes. She performs appraisals across many industry sectors and has significant experience in the engineering/consulting and forest product industries.
Arlene is Vice-President, and past Treasurer and Secretary of the American Society of Appraisers Business Valuation Committee, and past Vice Chair of the Board of Examiners of the American Society of Appraisers Business Valuation Committee. She is also a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Portland. She routinely speaks on ESOP valuation issues and other appraisal topics at conferences and webinars sponsored by the National Center for Employee Ownership and The ESOP Association, as well as other groups. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Portland State University, a Doctor of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University.
