John DeBurro

John DeBurro, CPA has more than 20 years of public accounting experience. He leads engagement teams performing annual financial statement audits and single audits for municipalities, school districts, utilities and not-for-profits. With John’s extensive government and not-for-profit experience, he is a sought-after speaker for industry conferences and trainings.

John, a certified public accountant, holds memberships with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). He is an active member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) special review committee, and serves as the Chair of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) Professional Standards Committee, Government Subcommittee and Chair of the annual TXCPA Single Audit and Government Accounting and Auditing Conference planning committee. He earned a Master of Science in Accounting from New Hampshire College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
