Margaret (Peggy) Nowak, EA, has 30 years of experience helping US enterprises and inbound foreign investors navigate the transactions and reporting obligations specific to international tax, including 20 years at Big Four firms. She managed the international tax compliance effort for one of the world’s largest privately held companies, a large oil and gas company and a Fortune 250 company in the automotive sector among other Fortune 500 clients. Her experience in international tax includes structuring, repatriation, treaty analysis and GILTI, FTC, BEAT and other tax calculations. She has assisted foreign investors in the consumer goods, medical supply, technology, food purveyor, and farming industries expand into US markets. She provides pre-assignment and post-assignment consulting and tax compliance advice to inbound and outbound expatriates. Peggy also has significant experience consulting around IC-DISCs and other US export incentives.
Peggy earned a Master of Science in taxation and a Master of Business Administration in finance from DePaul University as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in French and International Business & Language Area Studies from Saint Norbert College.
