Michael Friedman

Michael Friedman, CPA, has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting. He oversees audits and other assurance services, such as the preparation of informational returns, for clients in various industries. He also consults on internal control matters, offering guidance to his clients on regulatory compliance and best practices. His clients have included many public sector entities, such as multi-employer benefit plans, single employer plans, labor unions consisting of teachers’ unions and other municipal unions, along with their related political action funds and building corporations. He also works closely with charities, private foundations and other not-for-profit organizations.

Michael expresses care for his clients by listening, offering suggestions and taking the time to clearly illustrate how to accomplish something correctly. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Binghamton University.
