Ron Ellis

Ron Ellis, CPA, has more than 25 years of experience in transaction advisory services. As Director, he advises private equity groups and strategics as buyers and sellers on EBITDA computations, working capital and financial due diligence. Ron has conducted due diligence for business acquisitions on transactions as large as $400 million, including stand-alone entities, public company acquisitions, and corporate carve-outs. He has also managed acquisition and sale assistance, which includes negotiation and consultation, LOIs, non-competes, buy/sell agreements, purchase agreement language, and purchase accounting resolution of working capital disputes. Before joining Weaver, Ron previously ran his own EBITDA consulting practice and also served as the industry leader in Health Care for RSM’s National Transaction Advisory Services practice.

Ron is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS). Ron earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Bradley University.
