Wendy Kwong

Wendy Kwong, CPA, MBT, has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, focusing on accounting and compilation services for both private equity funds and large not-for-profit organizations. Wendy provides client accounting services and compilations with disclosures for a private equity firm with multi-billion dollar assets, and for the past 20 years, she has also contributed to the exponential growth and success of a not-for-profit client with total assets greater than $100M.

Before joining Weaver, she was the Partner-in-Charge of the Outsourced Accounting Department at HKG, LLP, and her experience also includes auditing, tax and accounting engagements to multi-tiered business groups, real estate partnerships, estates and trusts.

Wendy prepares and compiles U.S. GAAP financial statements with footnote disclosures, and has broad knowledge of accounting treatment analysis for complex transactions. She is well-versed in full or partial back-office accounting functions, including waterfall calculations, as well as the implementation of accounting standards and procedures.

A Certified Public Accountant, Wendy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). She earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.
