Andy Flores, CPA, has over 20 years of experience in public accounting, with a primary focus on financial statement audits and reviews, consulting services and agreed-upon procedures. Having spent most of his career working with clients in the energy industry, he has extensive experience servicing publicly traded, privately held and private equity-backed upstream, midstream and mineral royalty trust companies. He is also experienced with international group audits of local subsidiaries of foreign owned publicly traded companies reporting under both U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
Andy is versed in leading multiple engagements in conjunction with the coordination and review of the work performed by tax, IT advisory and valuation teams and consultants. He also has extensive technical knowledge, including Section 3-05 financial statements including pro-forma information; acquisitions and divestitures; the use of derivatives, hedging and swaps; accounting for impairment and/or disposals of long-lived assets and SEC regulations, including having worked on various SEC filings.
Andy is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the Baylor Alumni Association. Andy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University.
