Jan Altman

Jan Altman, CPA, MBA, has more than 40 years of experience delivering accounting and auditing services to real estate clients, privately held and family-owned businesses, labor organizations and employee benefit plans. Jan provides advisory services for business entities and tax compliance for employee benefit plans, as well as oversees audits of publicly traded companies and monitors internal control compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and New York Stock Exchange regulations.

Jan is committed to excellence and a comprehensive approach to problem solving, which has enabled him to develop strong relationships with his diverse clientele. He is known for responding promptly to clients about any proposed changes that would affect their business.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Connecticut and New York, Jan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He earned both his Master of Business Administration in taxation and his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Baruch College.
