John Michael Jaramillo, CPA, has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting providing audit, review, acquisition-related due diligence and advisory services for clients in the energy and financial services industries. His oil and gas experience includes audits and reviews of privately owned, publicly traded and private equity backed exploration and production companies; calculations of DDA, impairment, ARO and SMOG disclosures; conversion of tax basis financial statements to GAAP; and process improvement consulting. His financial services experience includes working with more than 100 national and state financial institutions on external audits, FDICIA/SOX consulting, trust audits and troubled bank consulting. John Michael brings diverse experience and technical knowledge to each of his clients.
As an active member of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, John Michael remains on the forefront of industry and regulation changes. He graduated with a bachelor’s of business administration degree in accounting from Abilene Christian University.
