Julie Birdsong

Julie Birdsong, CPA, PMP, is a collaborative leader with proven track record of guiding strategic projects across corporate functions, technology and operations. She has successfully built and motivated diverse teams to establish and meet strategic program goals across functional and operational areas. She demonstrates leadership in areas including strategic goal setting, organizational restructuring, team member education and involvement, system implementation and program development in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Before joining Weaver, Julie led strategic planning and management of strategic initiatives at Whole Foods Market and Amazon for over 26 years. Working directly for GVP and C-Level leadership, Julie played a key role in leading strategic change. In her tenure, Julie implemented a new compensation and performance evaluation structure that reduced turnover rates, defined strategic goals post-acquisition and transformed the organization through multiple restructures and strategic directional evolution. In addition, Julie supported software transformation initiatives and implementations. She also has experience in audit services at a Big Four firm.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Project Management Professional (PMP), Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Missouri State University.
