Mostafa Popal

Mostafa Popal has more than 17 years of experience in public accounting, including former Big Four experience. With a practice emphasis in assurance services, Mostafa has worked with both privately and publicly held companies in a multitude of industries including manufacturing and distribution, retail, energy, technology and professional services. He also has significant experience with SEC financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, business combination accounting, complex equity and debt transactions, revenue recognition and inventory costing.

Mostafa is an active participant in several industry associations. He formerly served as President of the Dallas Council of Petroleum Accountants Society and AICPA XBRL implementation committee. In addition, he is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Montclair State University.
