Neil Brown

Neil Brown, CPA, has more than 13 years of experience in public accounting, including former Big Four experience. With more than a decade of career focus in the upstream oil and gas industry, Neil has extensive experience working with private equity-backed portfolio companies not only in tax compliance but also tax consulting on mergers and acquisitions and business transactional services. His experience includes multistate income tax planning and compliance, as well as tax strategies for royalty funds and other energy-focused entities.

Neil is a certified public accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas and is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). He earned a Master in Professional Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in economics with honors from the University of Texas at Austin.
