Richard Steen

Richard Steen, EA, has more than 14 years of experience, with a background spanning both Big Four and industry roles across the manufacturing and distribution, financial services, leasing and automotive sectors. Richard is involved in planning and managing tax provision and compliance engagements. He also assists in reviewing tax provisions for large audit projects.

In his role, Richard calculates and analyzes the effective tax rate for all entities, works with the accounting team to book tax provision and return to provision entries to the general ledger and develops new processes for data upload. He focuses on having a streamlined provision process and serves as a technical tax advisor for Weaver’s income tax team.

An enrolled agent (EA), Richard actively participates in the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia. He earned a Master of Business Administration in finance from Saint Joseph’s University as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from James Madison University.
