Todd Potas

Todd Potas, PE, OCFV, leads third-party engineering reviews and consulting on renewable fuel sources for Weaver’s Energy Compliance Services practice. He has more than 28 years of experience managing quality assurance, process optimization, permitting, environmental reviews and process engineering for clients in both the United States and Canada. A licensed professional engineer (PE), Todd has led more than 200 third-party engineering reviews and quality assurance plan (QAP) audits for biogas, digester gas with feedstock characterization, biodiesel and ethanol facilities. He is an accredited Lead Verifier under the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS).

Todd is registered as a PE in Minnesota, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Louisiana and Florida. He earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering from the University of North Dakota–Grand Forks.
