Equality, diversity and opportunity are strategic priorities at Weaver, which is why Weaver’s inclusion initiative — Inspire — is vital to our culture. Inspire is a firmwide initiative focused on attracting and growing the next generation of leaders through visibility, progression, advocacy and support.
Initially launched as a women’s career development program in 2005, Inspire has since evolved to be inclusive of all people at Weaver. Through the initiative, we empower our entire workforce with resources and programs that are as diverse as our people.
Inspire is an extension of our culture fostered throughout the firm. The initiative is led by our Inspire Advisory Board and supported by our Inclusion Impact Teams, groups who exchange insights and experiences around shared, inclusion-related interests. These leaders, with the support of our firm and culture leaders, invest significantly in programming to develop our employees both personally and professionally. In addition to impact team initiatives that are offered year-round, our flagship event is our Inspire Summit, a comprehensive training and development workshop focused on inclusion.
The firm has seen tangible impact and change thanks to the progressive focus of Inspire, and we will continue evolving to meet the needs of our people including inclusion, mentorship and empowerment for all.
