Weaver Capital Advisors Strengthens Investment Services with New Portfolio Manager William Purvis

HOUSTON (July 16, 2026) — National accounting and advisory firm, Weaver, is pleased to announce that William Purvis has joined Weaver Capital Advisors as a portfolio manager. Based in Dallas, he will work closely with the firm’s wealth advisors to support portfolio construction, investment strategy and ongoing portfolio management for clients.

William brings experience in public and private markets, with a strong focus on multi-asset portfolio management and private market investing. In his recent role as a portfolio analyst at a Dallas investment advisory firm, he was responsible for their investment functions, including asset allocation, manager sourcing, underwriting and implementation. During his career, William conducted fund analysis and due diligence in private equity, private debt and real asset strategies while supporting liquidity management and performance monitoring. He also led an initiative to enhance performance reporting, improving the accuracy and reliability of portfolio data across client accounts.
