Weaver Expands California Public Sector Advisory Presence with Managing Director, Stacey Larsen

HOUSTON (May 12, 2026) — Weaver, a national accounting and advisory firm, has added Stacey Larsen as a managing director in its Consulting practice, strengthening the firm’s public sector advisory capabilities across California and the West Coast.
Based in Sacramento, Stacey will lead finance and accounting transformation, regulatory compliance and operational improvement initiatives for state agencies, local governments and public institutions. She will also contribute to business development efforts and help grow the firm’s public sector team in California through recruiting, development and mentorship initiatives.
Stacey brings more than 20 years of experience across the public and private sectors, with a background in finance transformation, compliance and operational leadership. She spent 15 years in the Big Four, where she led CFO services for state and local government organizations, guiding large-scale transformation and operational improvement efforts. In recent years, she founded and led a boutique consulting firm focused on strategy enablement, executive coaching and contract management for public sector clients across California, Oregon and Washington.

Stacey is a certified fraud examiner (CFE). She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of San Diego.
