Weaver Private Foundation Names Feed the Children as 2014-15 Charity of Choice

The Weaver Private Foundation named Feed the Children as the Charity of Choice for the fiscal year 2014-15. The Foundation contributed a total of $50,000 to the organization in conjunction with local partner agencies in Texas communities where Weaver, the largest independent accounting firm in the Southwest, has offices. More than 115 Weaver employees volunteered approximately 575 hours at four locations throughout Texas to help distribute food for local Feed the Children partner agencies.

Feed the Children participating partner agencies for this project included City Square Opportunity Center in Dallas; Target Hunger in Houston; the West Texas Food Bank in Odessa, distributed at Baptist Crisis Center in Midland; and Daily Bread Ministries in San Antonio.
