Kristen K. Derryberry

Kristen Derryberry, CPA, has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, including eleven years of Big Four audit practice experience. She audits financial statements for clients in a broad range of industries, including her focus in employee benefit plans, not-for-profit, government and energy sectors. Kristen manages audits of employee benefit plans including 11-K, ESOP, defined contribution, defined benefit, 401(k), pension, and health & welfare plans and assists in preparation of Form 5500. She has experience with plan terminations, mergers, late filings and corrections. She has led the accounting department, including payroll, accounts payable, revenue and general ledger of a local retail electric provider that grew from $75M to $300M revenues in three years, which entailed preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as coordinating the annual audit.

Kristen is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). She earned her Master of Science in accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Texas A&M University.
