Colby Warr

Colby Warr, CPA, has more than 20 years of public accounting experience, including nine years in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s (PwC) Global Energy practice. He is highly knowledgeable and skilled within the energy sector; his competence includes energy transition, renewable power, and midstream energy and trading. He also has experience with multinational supermajors, downstream and retail energy, as well as retail natural gas and utilities.

Colby has considerable practice in mergers and acquisitions, private-equity-backed portfolio companies, global engagements with group audit requirements and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) reporting. His technical experience includes IFRS conversions, business combinations, goodwill and tangible/intangible asset impairment reviews, and hedge accounting.

Colby is an active local member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the National Society of Accountants. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and is a licensed CPA in Texas, New York and Hawaii.
