Drew Dunavent

Drew Dunavent, PE, has more than ten years of environmental, engineering and compliance experience with a focus on environmental and carbon-related regulations. He leads client engagement and technical service teams while maintaining communication and the quality of services provided at all levels of delivery. Before joining Weaver, he managed air quality, carbon and environmental compliance services at a major consulting firm.

Drew has experience in environmental compliance, engineering design, audits, and carbon accounting for multiple industry sectors including chemicals, oil and gas, data centers, manufacturing, semiconductor and mining. He possesses deep knowledge in evaluation and application of environmental regulations for federal, state and local regulatory jurisdictions and is well versed in navigating regulatory uncertainty. Drew has experience with many agencies including U.S. EPA, California Air Resources Board (CARB), California Energy Commission, state and local air agencies and the Energy Information Administration.

A professional chemical engineer in four states, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering from San Diego State University.
