Freddy Fernandez

Freddy Fernandez, CPA, has over 10 years of experience in public accounting, starting his career at Weaver. As a partner in the Audit Investment Fund practice, Freddy leads and performs financial statement audits for hedge funds, private equity, real estate and venture capital funds, including fund of funds, broker-dealers and government entities.

Freddy has developed a deep foundation serving private equity clients, including a top 10 private equity fund group. He works with a variety of investments that range from Level 1 to Level 3 and evaluates different valuation approaches such as market multiple approach, discounted cash flow and precedent transaction analysis, and has additional exposure to credit funds and foreign currency derivative contract testing.

A certified public accountant (CPA) in Texas, Freddy is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and the University of North Texas Accounting Advisory Board. Freddy earned a Master of Science in accounting with an audit concentration and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of North Texas.
