His background is in the asset and wealth management industry, serving public and private companies. Mark spends extensive time delivering high-quality audit and attest services in accordance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards. Mark leverages his experience to help clients solve complex issues in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. He has conducted internal control assessments, which helped clients identify weaknesses in control systems and provided remediation plans to enhance the overall control environment. He has worked closely with asset management clients to assess their compliance risks, identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and enhance compliance.
He works with clients from emerging managers to global advisors. Mark has extensive experience managing teams of over 20 staff, organizing and managing multiple large-scale engagements for investment funds and asset managers efficiently and effectively, while maintaining quality in accordance with industry standards.
Mark is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A certified public accountant (CPA) in New York, Mark earned a Master of Science in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Bachelor of Science in accountancy from University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
