Matt Rogers

Matt Rogers, CPA, has provided assurance and advisory services for cities, special districts, school districts, counties and other government and not-for-profits since 2012. He is skilled in applying single audit, GAGAS and Statements on Auditing Standard (SAS) guidelines, as well as preparing ACFRs that meet GFOA requirements. His experience includes complex accounting research and development of work papers that assist staff and clients in meeting reporting requirements and helping with proficiency.

A Certified Public Accountant, Matt is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA). Matt also provides continuing education sessions for TASBO and has presented on various local government topics. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and economics from Sam Houston State University.
