Melanie Tull

Melanie Tull, CPA, CISA, is an experienced assurance and advisory professional with more than ten years of experience leading SOC reporting, control audits and related attestation engagements for organizations across multiple industries and technology environments. She helps management define clear engagement objectives, scope and approach while supporting high-quality, timely delivery of SOC examinations and assurance services.

Her experience includes SOC 1 and SOC 2 engagements, readiness and risk assessments, internal audits and other attestation services. Melanie evaluates entity-level controls, IT general controls and application controls, with a focus on control design, operating effectiveness and practical risk mitigation. She works closely with management and engagement teams to develop efficient testing approaches, identify meaningful control considerations and deliver reports tailored to each client’s environment.

Melanie has led teams through all phases of SOC examinations, including scoping, control objective and criteria alignment, walkthroughs, testing, issue evaluation and reporting. She is recognized for her clear communication style, collaborative leadership approach and ability to connect technical control matters with business objectives and user organization needs.

Melanie holds an advanced SOC for service organizations certification and is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She earned a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
