Prerna Jagada

Prerna Jagada, CPA, has more than 25 years of public accounting experience, including tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals and not-for-profit organizations. She likes to spend time listening to her clients and actively hearing about each client’s unique concerns and goals in order to serve their financial, philanthropic and family needs. Prerna is the leader of the firm’s not-for-profit tax practice and has experience with complex issues related to public charities and private foundations. She has assisted clients with choice and termination of charitable entities and integrated charitable goals with tax planning for high-net-worth individuals. She has successfully represented clients in federal and state controversies.

Prerna focuses on serving multigenerational families, entrepreneurs, self-employed professionals, founders and executives. Prior to joining Weaver, Prerna was a tax director in a top 10 accounting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she served as a nonprofit practice leader and was an integral part of their Services to Individuals practice. She also advised venture capitalists and clients with qualified small business stock, stock options and concentrated stock positions.

She is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Prerna is a certified public accountant (CPA) in Texas and earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India.
