Be Inspired: The Women of Weaver

Inspire is Weaver’s firm-wide, year-round program focused on attracting and retaining the next generation of female leaders. Originally launched in 2005, Inspire’s focus is to foster a work environment that inspires excellence through visibility, progression and advocacy. This year, Weaver announced Neha Patel, IT Advisory Services Partner, as the new program chair, along with 10 other firm leaders who will serve as the board of directors. With this new leadership comes renewed direction for the initiative, ensuring alignment of Inspire with the firm’s overall vision and strategy. 2016 Inspire Summit: Be Inspired

On November 11, 2016, Weaver hosted our bi-annual Inspire Summit in North Texas with the theme “Define Success on Your Own Terms”. The event, hosted for future female leaders across the firm, consisted of a reception, and a customized program directed at the specific needs of our current and future women. The daylong event featured an entertaining and inspiring visit from The Fort Worth-based improv group, Four Day Weekend, followed by sessions on values-based time management and leadership skills, and concluded with a panel of firm leaders discussing the “Journey to Success” for women. The day was full of empowering conversations, professional growth and laughter. The Summit is one of many ways Weaver is committed to recognizing the contributions of our female leaders.
