Brandon Cooperman Joins Weaver’s Alternative Investment Practice in New York
HOUSTON, TEXAS (August 23, 2022) – Weaver, a national CPA and advisory firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Brandon Cooperman, CPA, as an assurance partner in the firm’s growing Alternative Investment Fund practice. He is based in Weaver’s New York City office.
With more than 13 years of experience in public accounting, including more than a decade with a Big Four firm, Cooperman has provided audit and non-audit services for clients across the investment management industry. He has worked with public and private management companies, hedge funds, mutual funds, fund-of-funds and investment advisors. Brandon has also performed integrated audits for large, multi-national companies.

Cooperman earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York Society of CPAs. Additionally, he serves on the board of trustees for Trail Blazers, a Brooklyn area youth development organization.
