Michael Gargiulo Joins Weaver as Tax Partner in New Jersey

HOUSTON (July 1, 2026) — National accounting and advisory firm, Weaver, is pleased to announce that Michael Gargiulo, CPA, has joined the firm as a tax partner in its New Jersey office. Based in Little Falls, New Jersey, Michael brings nearly 20 years of experience advising commercial clients on federal and state tax compliance, tax planning, tax provisions and other complex tax matters.
Michael serves clients across a broad range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, mortgage lending and investing, manufacturing, real estate, hospitality and professional services. Throughout his career, he has advised both domestic and multinational organizations on tax planning, compliance and audit representation, while also supporting mergers and acquisitions and inbound U.S. tax matters.

Prior to joining Weaver, Michael held leadership roles with regional and national advisory organizations, where he advised clients on tax consulting, compliance and controversy matters while contributing to business development and firm growth. His experience includes working closely with middle-market and closely held businesses to address evolving tax needs and support long-term business objectives.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Binghamton University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in taxation from Pace University. He is a licensed CPA in New York and New Jersey and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the New York and New Jersey Societies of CPAs.
