Weaver Adds Corporate Tax Partner Brandon Powers to Denver Office

HOUSTON (March 17, 2026) — National accounting and advisory firm, Weaver, is pleased to announce that Brandon Powers, CPA, has joined the firm as a partner in its Tax practice in Denver. Powers brings nearly two decades of public accounting experience in corporate taxation, ASC 740 tax provision services, mergers and acquisitions and international tax structuring, supporting the firm’s growth in the Rocky Mountain region.

Powers most recently served as a tax principal at a national public accounting firm, where he led corporate tax growth initiatives in the Denver market. He has advised multinational and middle-market companies on complex tax provision, compliance and cross-border structuring matters, guiding clients through transactions, reorganizations and evolving regulatory requirements. His experience also includes strategic planning, operational improvement and mentoring high-performing tax teams.

Throughout his career, Powers has focused on building strong client relationships while leading teams through change and growth. He has also been active in the Denver business community, serving on the executive board of World Trade Center Denver.

Powers received a Master of Taxation from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in accounting and business administration from Colorado State University. He is a licensed CPA in Colorado.
