Weaver Expands Governance, Risk and Compliance Practice with New Director, Rhonda Warren

HOUSTON (January 29, 2026) — Weaver, a national accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Rhonda Warren, CPA, has joined the firm as a director in its Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) practice. Based in Houston, Rhonda brings more than 30 years of experience in financial reporting, risk advisory, internal audit and controls, and public accounting.
Rhonda will work closely with the firm’s GRC leadership as Weaver continues to develop its contract compliance services. She most recently served as a risk advisory director at a national accounting firm, where she led a contract compliance practice supporting audits related to royalties, licensing, joint ventures, profit-sharing agreements, franchises and leases. Her background also includes extensive experience in internal auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and business process improvement.
Throughout her career, Rhonda has supported clients across a wide range of industries, including professional services, energy, financial services, real estate and employee benefit plans. She has also held leadership roles within industry organizations, directing accounting and internal audit functions and implementing process improvements to support operational effectiveness. Earlier in her career, she gained Big Four experience and played an active role in initiatives focused on advancing women in the profession.

Rhonda is a certified public accountant in Texas and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Texas A&M University.
