Weaver Grows Bankruptcy and Restructuring Services Practice with New Director, Zachary Parkins

HOUSTON (April 29, 2026) — Weaver, a national accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Zachary Parkins, CIRA, CFE, has joined the firm as a director in its Bankruptcy and Restructuring Services practice. Based in Dallas, Zachary brings more than 17 years of experience advising distressed companies on strategic alternatives, implementing restructuring plans and navigating the bankruptcy process, along with experience providing forensic accounting and bankruptcy litigation support.
Zachary has led restructuring and turnaround engagements both inside and outside the bankruptcy court process across a wide range of industries, including automotive, construction, manufacturing, real estate, telecommunications, retail and staffing. His background spans complex reorganizations, financial investigations and litigation-related matters.
Prior to joining Weaver, Zachary served as a senior manager in the corporate finance and restructuring group at a national accounting and advisory firm, where he led restructuring and wind-down engagements for distressed entities, advised C-suite executives and managed daily operations for client organizations. He also helped establish and grow the firm’s corporate finance and restructuring team in Dallas.
Zachary’s background includes leadership roles within several national consultancy practices where he managed complex forensic accounting investigations, supported receiverships and trustee engagements, and served as a primary drafter of expert reports in fraud investigations and bankruptcy-related litigation.

Zachary holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, economics from The Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. He is a certified insolvency and restructuring advisor (CIRA) and a certified fraud examiner (CFE) and has been published on topics related to dispute resolution.
