Weaver Merges with RIN Attest and Advisory Services

Weaver, the largest independent accounting firm in the Southwest, announces the merger with RIN Attest and Advisory Services effective January 7, 2014. This merger enhances Weaver’s expertise in the energy compliance and renewables industry. David Bennett, CPA, CFE, CFF, CITP, RIA, who founded RIN Attest and Advisory Services, joins Weaver as a partner in Weaver’s energy compliance services (ECS) practice and will be based out of Stamford, Conn.

Bennett’s practice specializes in attestations required under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) regulations, as well as renewable energy business intelligence solutions. “David’s extensive experience in RFS attestation and compliance services will add great depth to our ECS practice,” said Wade Watson, partner-in-charge of energy compliance and renewables. “His expertise is an integral addition which supports our strategic goal of growing national recognition within the energy industry.”
