Weaver Recognized as 2026 Platinum Green Lease Leader

HOUSTON (June 25, 2026) – Weaver, a national accounting and advisory firm, has been recognized as a 2026 Platinum Green Lease Leader by the Institute for Market Transformation through its Green Lease Leaders program.
The Green Lease Leaders program recognizes organizations incorporating green leasing principles into real estate strategies and operational practices that support energy efficiency, building performance and long-term sustainability objectives. The 2026 class includes 55 awardees representing more than 2.4 billion square feet of building space.
The recognition highlights organizations advancing high-performance building practices through energy-aligned leasing strategies and stronger collaboration between landlords and tenants. Weaver’s recognition is valid for three years.
“We are proud to be recognized as a Platinum Green Lease Leader alongside organizations helping shape more sustainable and efficient building practices,” said David Rook, partner and chief operating officer at Weaver. “As organizations continue evaluating operational performance, energy usage and long-term environmental goals, green leasing strategies can play an important role in aligning stakeholders and supporting measurable progress.”
“This recognition reflects the continued collaboration across our teams and our broader commitment to helping organizations advance sustainability initiatives in practical, measurable ways,” said Ashly Pleasant, director of real estate advisory and sustainability services at Weaver. “Sustainability strategies continue to evolve alongside operational, regulatory and reporting expectations, and organizations are increasingly looking for approaches that support both environmental objectives and business performance.”
Since launching in 2014, the program has helped organizations strengthen building performance through collaborative lease agreements, efficient tenant fit-outs, energy management practices and ongoing engagement and education.
