Upcoming Reporting and Registration Deadlines

Please note the following reporting deadlines that are approaching:

• September 1, 2016: Q2 2016 RFS quarterly reports – RFS0104, EMTS Transaction Reports and as applicable: RFS0601, RFS0701, RFS0801 and EMTS Generation Reports
• November 1, 2016: Registration of oxygenate blending facilities – facility owners only*
• December 1, 2016: 2015 Annual RFS compliance reports for Obligated Parties – RFS0303
• December 1, 2016: 2014 Annual RFS attestation reports for Obligated Parties
• January 31, 2017: Engineering Review updates for renewable fuel producers who originally registered in 2011 or 2014; EPA Engineering Review guidelines state that the site visit to the facility should be conducted within the 120 days preceding this deadline (between October 3, 2016 and January 31, 2017)

*A previous Weaver Compliance Alert indicated that any owner, operator or company performing oxygenate blending activities at a terminal had to register that facility with the EPA. The EPA has since clarified that only the facility owner will be required to register their facility where oxygenate blending occurs. The Central Data Exchange system (CDX) will be updated in late September to accommodate the new registration information that the facility owner will be required to submit.
