Responsibly Sourced Gas Certification
Weaver’s Gas-tegrity certification provides objective, third-party verification that gas producers are following industry best practices to control methane emissions, both intentional and unintentional, and produce responsibly sourced gas (RSG). This program leverages our experience with the U.S. EPA’s Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), as one of only a few certified QAP auditors in the nation, and with California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS), to document that a facility is following best practices to control methane releases.
Any producer of natural gas, whether from fossil or renewable sources, is eligible to participate in Gas-tegrity. Gas off-takers, such as utilities, marketers and industrial facilities, can also benefit from the extra confidence this certification offers.
