Brett Nabors

For nearly two decades, Brett Nabors, CISA, CCSK, CDPSE, CMMC RP, EBDA, has assisted organizations as an information technology business partner and advisor. He has led audit and advisory projects focusing on compliance and regulatory requirements, process improvement, security and privacy maturity, IT transformation, IT governance, and risk mitigation. Brett’s familiarity with security and technology frameworks and technical knowledge are coupled with his skills in system implementations, ERP optimization, data analytics, IT control assessments, and other aspects of managing and improving IT performance, effectiveness and security. He helps his clients improve controls and processes, identify and address risks, and align IT processes to the overall organizational strategy. Brett has served clients across a multitude of industries, including public sector (government), technology, banking, insurance, retail, energy, utilities, and digital assets. 

Recognized for his insight and experience, Brett regularly presents on governance, compliance, technology and security-related topics. Brett has also served the University of Texas at Austin as a lecturer for two years, teaching accounting students the key aspects and importance of accounting information systems and the integration of business processes and systems. 

A Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Brett is an active member of ISACA and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He holds the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) and is a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE). Brett is also a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Registered Practitioner (CMMC RP). He also earned a Certificate in Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets from Wharton Online. Brett graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in information and operations management from Texas A&M University.
