Vashisht R. Dhupad

Vashisht R. Dhupad, CPA, has more than 14 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on private entities. His background started in asset management and alternative investments with a focus in venture capital funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, fund-of-funds and crypto currency funds, reporting under US GAAP. With deep understanding and extensive experience of Level 3 investments, navigating complex valuations and capital structures, Vashisht has successfully overseen financial statement audits for some of the world’s most prominent asset management firms, including audits for entities with assets under management ranging from $25million to $100+ billion. He is skilled in managing high-profile client portfolios, leading global teams and driving audit process improvements. Having experience working with global onshore and offshore teams, Vashisht has joined the Manhattan Beach, California, office after starting with Weaver in Bengaluru, India.

A certified public accountant (CPA) in California and Guam, Vashisht is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Vashisht earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Loyola University, Chennai.
