Jeffrey Lewis Joins Weaver as Managing Director, Forensics and Litigation Services in Washington D.C.

HOUSTON, TEXAS (June 15, 2023) – Weaver, a national accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to welcome Jeff Lewis as Managing Director, Forensics and Litigation Services. With more than two decades of experience, Jeff is skilled in a broad range of forensic services including commercial and economic damages, family law disputes, business valuations, fraud investigations and forensic accounting. He has successfully led complex litigation engagements and investigations for clients in several industries including healthcare, insurance, automotive, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and financial services.

Prior to joining Weaver, Jeff served in leadership positions within national accounting and litigation consulting firms and spent several years in the dispute analysis and investigations practices of Big Four firms. His experience spans cases involving commercial damages, fraud, business valuation and family law matters. Jeff is based in Washington D.C. and has served as an expert witness and testified multiple times in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and District of Columbia courts.

Jeff attended the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business where he earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Jeff also holds the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF) credentials issued by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.
