Weaver Expands Advisory Presence in Houston with Dawn Williford, GRC Partner

HOUSTON (October 8, 2025) — National accounting and advisory firm, Weaver, is pleased to announce that Dawn Williford, CIA, has joined the firm as a partner in its governance, risk and compliance (GRC) practice. Based in Houston, Texas, she brings more than 25 years of experience in risk advisory, internal audit and compliance.

With Big Four and other national accounting firm experience, Dawn has supported clients across energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, franchising and entertainment, with risk assessments, internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing, SOX readiness, SOX compliance and contract compliance. She led an internal audit, risk and controls team, guiding nationwide initiatives in SOX, enterprise risk management and internal audit. Additionally, she launched and directed a national contract compliance practice, helping clients recover millions of dollars for industries including construction, franchising and licensing.
