Weaver Expands State and Local Tax Practice with New Partner, Savannah Brown
HOUSTON (March 6, 2024) – Savannah Brown has joined Weaver, a national accounting and advisory firm, as a new partner in the state and local tax (SALT) practice. Based in the firm’s Dallas office, Savannah brings extensive experience assisting large multinational corporations with all aspects of state and local taxation.
Savannah joins Weaver with 15 years of experience in tax services with a Big-Four firm where she provided SALT services for clients in a variety of industries including oil and gas, health care, food service, defense, financial services and manufacturing. She is highly skilled in helping clients understand the state and local tax impact of their business operations as well as supporting them in multi-state tax planning and restructuring. Her career experience extends to mergers and acquisitions due diligence, audit support, partnership compliance, corporate compliance and provision.

Savannah is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Taxation from Baylor University.
