Weaver Expands Transaction Advisory Capabilities with Director Arwa Hussain

HOUSTON (May 5, 2026) — National accounting and advisory firm, Weaver, is pleased to announce that Arwa Hussain has joined the firm as a director in its Transaction Advisory Services practice. Based in Houston, Arwa brings more than a decade of experience advising clients through complex transactions, with a strong background in financial due diligence across the M&A lifecycle.
Arwa recently served as a deal advisory director at a Canadian accounting firm, where she led buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements within the technology (SaaS), manufacturing and distribution, and e-commerce sectors. She delivered insights on quality of earnings, working capital and purchase price considerations to help clients navigate transactions and achieve meaningful outcomes. She also worked closely with private equity firms, corporate clients and investment banks to support execution and achieve meaningful outcomes.
Earlier in her career, Arwa held deal advisory roles at other national accounting firms, where she focused on mid‑market and large‑scale transactions, including carve‑outs and high‑growth technology acquisitions. She began her career in assurance at a Big Four firm, building a strong foundation in financial reporting, SEC filings and revenue recognition for SaaS companies.
“Arwa brings a strong combination of transaction experience, technical depth and a collaborative approach to client service,” said Brian Teefey, partner, financial advisory and transaction advisory services, at Weaver. “Her ability to deliver practical insights across the deal lifecycle strengthens our Transaction Advisory Services practice and enhances the value we provide to clients navigating complex transactions.”
