Weaver Formalizes Sustainability Services and Adds ESG and Sustainability Services Director, Ashly Pleasant
HOUSTON (November 30, 2023) – National accounting and advisory firm, Weaver, welcomes Ashly Pleasant as director, ESG & sustainability services. Ashly will lead this service offering as Weaver increases its commitment to providing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy and consulting services.
Focused on assisting clients in defining meaningful sustainability strategies, Ashly will work closely with team members across the firm as Weaver launches a full spectrum of ESG services. Highlights of the program feature ESG roadmaps and comprehensive measures tailored to meet key business objectives, align stakeholder and investor expectations, and create long-term value.
Ashly’s career spans more than 15 years and includes experience in reporting to widely accepted domestic and international standards. In her most recent role as a senior vice president with a multi-national investor and developer, Ashly worked directly with stakeholders, investor groups and executive leadership to develop and communicate global ESG priorities, including European Union sustainability initiatives, energy reduction targets and emissions requirements. In addition to assisting with investor communications, she formalized a suite of reporting frameworks for the company to disclose their non-financial performance activities, from climate risk to social impact, which further spearheaded efforts to drive ESG awareness.

Ashly serves on the ESG KPI committee for the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries, which was formed to define and standardize material ESG factors. She is also a member of Chief, a network that supports senior executive women in business and is an honoree within Connect CRE’s annual women in real estate awards program.
Ashly holds a Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Houston and an MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas.
