Leanne: Welcome to Weaver’s Motor Fuel Tax Minute, the vlog where we talk all things motor fuel. As you’ve seen over the past couple episodes, we’ve been introducing all of our wonderful new associates.
And last but certainly not least, we have Brie Brown joining us today.

Leanne: So, Brie, welcome. Tell us a little bit about yourself — where you’re from and what you did before you came to Weaver.

Brie: I am from Louisiana. I moved here to The Woodlands, Texas, which is where I’m located, in June.
And I graduated college in June, interned here in energy tax and then started with motor fuels.

Kelly: Quite a big jump on two grounds — starting a new job and then also changing states. Although, I guess both are pretty hot, humid states, so maybe not too big.
But what has been your favorite part of working at Weaver so far?

Brie: Definitely how welcoming everyone is. I can say that it’s a true team that makes you feel valued as a person instead of an employee.

Leanne: Oh, and we love having you as part of the team. You’re doing great, and we hope that you’re enjoying what you’re learning.
One little fun fact I have about you before I ask you for a fun fact is that you interned in a different group but were so impressed with the ECS Fuel Tax group that you decided to join us.

Leanne: And I know there’s no hard feelings from Energy Tax, but we love having you, and we’re glad that you joined us.
But now, over to you for a fun fact about yourself.

Brie: I was on my college’s acrobatics and tumbling team, and I’m also training for my first half marathon right now.

Kelly: Wow. That is amazing. That is awesome and great motivation for the whole team, because I know I need to get moving during these winter months. So that is very cool.
