Adam Jones leads Weaver’s state government practice. His practice areas include organizational assessment, IT assessment, strategic governance and general management consulting for major state agencies, cities, school districts and institutions of higher education. Adam has 20 years of experience in state government, including nine years as a Deputy Education Commissioner in Texas where he served two terms as a member of the board of directors of the state’s Department of Information Resources.
He is a regular writer, speaker and presenter on management and leadership. Adam brings exceptional facilitation and communication skills to bear on challenges including re-organization, change management, strategic planning and organizational maturity. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and his master’s degree in public policy from Duke University.
