Claus Agger-Nielsen

Claus Agger-Nielsen, CPA, has more than 20 years of experience providing assurance services such as financial accounting, reporting and financial analysis. He has served public companies and privately held corporations within a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, investment banking, broker dealers, entertainment and media, financial institutions, real estate, oil and gas, not-for-profit organizations and law firms. He also audits employee benefit plans for diverse entities and is well-versed in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Alongside his extensive experience in financial auditing, Claus is particularly knowledgeable concerning third-party contract audits. He also provides audit reviews and compilations, serves as a peer reviewer for audits and performs overhead rate audits. He is skilled in evaluating internal controls, has worked with teams on Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) engagements and provided support for tax engagements.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California and Hawaii, Claus stays at the forefront of the accounting profession as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Accounting and Auditing Standards State Committee for the California Society of Certified Public Accountant (CalCPA) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He is also a former member of the Report Quality Monitoring Committee for the California Board of Accountancy. He earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
