Steven Scarborough

Steven Scarborough leads Weaver’s sales and use tax compliance practice and has more than 20 years of tax accounting experience. His career focus includes state and local tax matters, specifically sales and use tax, property tax and indirect tax compliance. Prior to joining Weaver, Steven served as the indirect tax manager for a large hydraulic fracturing company and as the tax director for a major fuel distributor. Additionally, Steven has also led audit defenses involving sales, fuel and IFTA taxes. His experience includes serving clients in a wide array of industries, including energy, technology, retail, manufacturing and leasing. His clients rely on his expertise in U.S. and Canada sales and use tax compliance matters.

Steven is a member of the Institute of Professionals in Taxation and the Institute of Management Accountants. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Texas Christian University.
