Howard Altshuler, CPA, brings more than 30 years of experience in audit and assurance, including more than two decades at a Big Four accounting firm. There, he served as the lead client service partner to a number of public and private real estate companies ranging in size from $50 million to $13 billion in assets, who invested in all real estate types. He worked for four years in Shanghai, PRC, where he was that firm’s China Real Estate Leader, responsible for serving the firm’s multinational clients who invested in Chinese real estate.
Most recently, as principal of Altshuler Consulting, LLC, he has provided accounting and consulting services to clients in the real estate, private equity and venture capital industries.
Altshuler is an active member and has held leadership roles in several industry organizations including the Urban Land Institute and The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth. He has served his community as a board member for the Dallas Mayor’s Committee for the Employment of People with Disabilities and the Arts District Friends, as well as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Irving. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston.
